Benefits of Membership in the Atlantis Rangers

The Rangers Dive Schedule
Members participate in dive planning, receive preferred rates and booking, and may use club owned tanks and regulators. Each fall the club queries members about the trips they took over the past year and what they want to see next year. Early in the new year, the club announces its dive schedule and starts taking sign-ups. Members can secure spots with a small deposit. Only if the trip does not fill are spots openned to non-members who are asked to pay in-full on signing up. Click here to view the current schedule.
Free Use of Club-owned Tanks and Regulators
All members of the Atlantis Rangers can borrow club owned and maintained tanks (Aluminum 80s for air or Nitrox) and regulators (equiped with octopus, depth gauge and SPG). Several members volunteer as equipment managers and provide convenient places for pick up and drop off. Club onwed tanks save memebers money on rentals and there are no late fees.
Club Sponsored Training Opportunties
In cooperation with local dive shops and independent instructors the club arranges both informal training sessions and formal courses. Although we do not provide basic open water instruction, Ranger sponsored training has earned members Advanced Open Water, Wreck Diver, Dry Suit, Nitrox and even Dive Master certs.
Our dive schedule contains regular visits to local training sites (quarries) and dive trips planned with novice divers in mind. We offer members the opportunity to dive safely within their expereince and ability envelop while expanding that envelop with the help of more experienced dive buddies
In addition, our regular meetings feature question and answer sessions and short infomative visits from instructors, vendors and our own "Inspector Gadget."
